Real Madrid have joined Manchester United in the race to sign Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder Christoph Kramer, according to reports.
The 23-year-old World Cup winner has been linked with a move to United repeatedly over the past few months as Louis van Gaal continues to build his squad at Old Trafford.
However, any potential move for Kramer could be made more difficult by the challenge of Madrid, who are considering making an offer to Gladbach, according to talkSPORT.
Carlo Ancelotti is believed to be open to the idea of bringing a midfielder to the club in the January transfer window following recent injuries to Luka Modric and Sami Khedira.
Kramer claimed last month that it was an "enormous honour" to be linked with Madrid.
