Real Madrid are reportedly still keen on a deal for Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba.
The 26-year-old, who has been sidelined since December with an ankle injury, has been strongly linked with a move away from Old Trafford in recent weeks, having only made seven appearances for the Red Devils this season.
According to Don Balon, Real manager Zinedine Zidane believes that Pogba would slot right into Los Blancos' midfield and hopes that the France international will end up forcing a departure from Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side.
The report also claims that Zidane has informed current midfielder Luka Modric that he is no longer a guaranteed starter at the Bernabeu, and German international Toni Kroos has reportedly emerged as a potential replacement for Pogba should he leave United.
However, Solskjaer revealed earlier this week that he still expects the midfielder to be among the ranks at Old Trafford next season.
Since rejoining from Juventus in 2016, Pogba has contributed 31 goals in 143 appearances in all competitions for the 20-time English champions.
