Real Madrid will reportedly return with a fresh bid to sign Paul Pogba from Manchester United next summer.
The Frenchman told reporters in June that he wanted a "new challenge" elsewhere as his agent Mino Raiola pushed for a move to the Bernabeu.
Zinedine Zidane is said to have pinpointed Pogba as his primary summer target, but United refused to budge on their £180m valuation of the World Cup winner.
According to AS, Los Blancos plan to launch another approach for Pogba once next year's summer transfer window opens.
United are said to have rejected an offer of £27.7m plus James Rodriguez from Real for the midfielder, whose contract at Old Trafford expires in 2021.
Pogba once again fuelled speculation over a potential move to Spain by recently liking a post on Instagram which urged him to move to the La Liga side.
