AC Milan are in pole position to sign Sevilla striker Carlos Bacca, according to reports.
The Colombian forward netted 28 times last season as he helped the La Liga side retain the Europa League, and he's been linked with a move to the Premier League with Liverpool or Manchester United.
However, Italian publication Gazetta claims that Milan have stolen a march on their rivals by agreeing to pay the £21m buy-out clause in his contract.
The 28-year-old's agent, Sergio Barila, has added further fuel to the fire by saying that Bacca would rather play in Serie A than the Premier League.
Bacca has just returned from Chile where he was representing Colombia in the Copa America.
