Tottenham Hotspur centre-back Toby Alderweireld will reportedly be available for £25m at the end of the season due to a buy-out clause in his contract.
Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino confirmed on Thursday afternoon that Spurs will activate a year-long extension in the Belgian's contract, keeping him tied down to the Lilywhites until 2020.
However, Sky Sports News suggests that a clause will kick in that will allow the 29-year-old to leave for a cut-price fee in the summer.
The report claims that Tottenham would have to receive that £25m offer 14 or more days before the end of the 2019 summer transfer window.
Manchester United have been strongly linked with Alderweireld, who has spent the last three-and-a-half years in North London.
Spurs have never received a formal offer for the ex-Ajax ace, despite a number of clubs showing a rumoured interest over the past couple of years.
