Barcelona have reportedly cooled their interest in Borussia Monchengladbach goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen.
It had recently been claimed that the Spanish champions had agreed a deal to sign the 21-year-old, but reports in Spain have suggested that the Catalan outfit are now exploring other options.
The club's search for a new number one is expected to intensify in the January transfer window, with current keeper Victor Valdes set to seek pastures new at the end of the season.
Manchester United's David de Gea and Liverpool's Pepe Reina – who is currently on loan at Napoli – have also been strongly linked with the position.
