James Rodriguez is reportedly desperate to leave Real Madrid for Manchester United in this summer's transfer window.
The Colombian international has struggled to hold down a regular spot in the Los Blancos first team this season, with Lucas Vazquez, Jese Rodriguez and Casemiro all currently ahead of him in the pecking order.
A report earlier this month claimed that Real Madrid were not prepared to allow the 24-year-old to depart the Bernabeu at the end of the season, but according to ESPN, James will attempt to force through a move to Man United.
The attacking midfielder, who starred for his country at the 2014 World Cup, netted 17 times for Real Madrid last season, but has only managed eight this term.
