Juventus have tabled a fresh offer to Ajax for captain Matthijs de Ligt, according to a report.
Despite interest from Barcelona and Manchester United, the Netherlands international is believed to have his heart set on a move to Turin.
Juve have agreed personal terms with De Ligt on a five-year deal that is rumoured to be worth around £9.8m a year, but they have yet to match Ajax's valuation.
Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf suggests that a transfer is now a step closer to being finalised, though, as the Serie A champions have substantially increased their bid from £45m to £60m.
That that is still around £7m less than Barcelona and Man United have allegedly offered, but Ajax are expected to accept the improved bid.
