Real Madrid have reportedly decided to pursue Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea once again after failing at the last minute to sign him in the summer transfer window.
The Spanish giants were close to sealing the 25-year-old's signature in August, but the relevant paperwork was not completed before the deadline.
Despite appearing intent on joining Madrid, De Gea ended up signing a new long-term contract at Old Trafford, and this week has insisted that he is "really happy" at the Premier League club.
However, according to The Sun, Madrid remain keen on signing the Spaniard and they plan to trigger the shot-stopper's £30m release clause.
Madrid's current number one Keylor Navas has conceded eight league goals so far this season.
