Premier League pair Manchester United and Manchester City reportedly face missing out on Benfica youngster Joao Felix to Real Madrid.
All three sides are said to have shown an interest in the attacking midfielder, who has 10 goals and four assists in his maiden Primeira Liga campaign.
United are in the market for a young attacker, and City - believed to be after a long-term successor to David Silva - sent director of football Txiki Bergiristain to a recent Benfica match.
Felix has been scouted by the English duo for a number of months, but The Sun reports that Real are more likely to sign him.
United and City's hesitancy has also apparently allowed Juventus to steal a march.
The 19-year-old is currently valued at £105m and Benfica are hoping that he agrees a new contract before the summer to drive that valuation closer to £130m.
