Real Madrid are reportedly prepared to sacrifice Isco in an attempt to force through a deal for Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba.
Isco is one of a handful of players unwanted by president Florentino Perez as Los Blancos continue to reshape their squad.
However, Zinedine Zidane is said to be keen to keep the Spain international as he feels he can still play a part next season.
According to reports in Spain, if Perez gets his wish Isco will be on his way to Old Trafford this summer and Pogba - also wanted by Zidane - will be on his way to the Bernabeu.
Madrid will also apparently hand over around £40m to further tempt United into doing business.
Isco, who has spent six seasons with Madrid, is also believed to be a target for Manchester City.
