Manchester United are reportedly ready to reignite their interest in Borussia Dortmund defender Mats Hummels.
The German international has been strongly linked with a move to Old Trafford in the last couple of transfer windows, while it is understood that Liverpool are also in the running following the appointment of Jurgen Klopp.
According to Fichajes.net, Man United boss Louis van Gaal is still in the market for a new central defender and Hummels remains the Dutchman's leading target.
It is thought that the Premier League outfit will find it hard to prise the German away in January, but a big-money offer next summer could be on the cards.
Hummels, 26, has been with Dortmund since 2009.
