Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho is reportedly considering a January swoop for Porto's Hector Herrera.
Despite re-signing Paul Pogba from Juventus in the summer, it is understood that Man United are still in the market for a new central midfielder as Bastian Schweinsteiger prepares to depart.
The likes of Real Madrid's Isco and Sporting Lisbon's William Carvalho have been linked with Old Trafford, but according to Fichajes.net, Mourinho is weighing up a bid for experienced midfielder Herrera.
The 26-year-old joined Porto from Pachuca in 2013 and has made 121 appearances for the Portuguese giants in all competitions, scoring 20 times in the process.
Juventus have also been credited with an interest in the Mexican international.
