Manchester United have reportedly already opened negotiations with Velez Sarsfield over a deal for teenage winger Thiago Almada.
The talented 19-year-old is said to have been lined up by United as one of three possible alternatives in the case of a deal for Borussia Dortmund's Jadon Sancho falling through.
According to Argentine newspaper Ole, the Red Devils recently stepped up their interest in Almada by making contact with his club.
However, Arsenal and Atletico Madrid are also rumoured to be keen to sign the Argentina Under-20s international, who has five goals and two assists in 25 appearances for Sarsfield this season.
Almada, also comfortable playing in a more central position, is expected to cost in the region of €22m (£19.61m).
