Manchester United have reportedly earmarked a January move for Porto midfielder Fernando.
The 26-year-old was coveted by Everton during the summer transfer window, but he chose to stay at the Portuguese champions.
According to A Bola, the Red Devils are among a number of clubs interested in signing the midfielder, along with Juventus and Inter Milan.
Fernando's contract expires next summer and he is yet to sign a new contract, which is said to be forcing Porto into business.
He arrived at the Estadio do Dragao from Brazilian side Vila Nova in 2007.
