Jose Mourinho has reportedly decided that Juan Mata and Marouane Fellaini will both be sold if he is appointed the new manager of Manchester United.
Speculation is growing that the 53-year-old will replace Louis van Gaal at Old Trafford in the summer, so much so that it is believed that he is making plans with regards to potential incomings and outgoings.
According to the Daily Mail, Mourinho has already decided that neither Spanish playmaker Mata nor Belgian midfielder Fellaini fit into his strategy.
News of Mourinho's supposed willingness to part with Mata will not be a major surprise, given that he was in charge of Chelsea when the 27-year-old was sold to United for £37.1m in January 2014.
The two players were the only ones to arrive at United during David Moyes's ill-fated 10-month stint in charge of the club.
