Newcastle United are reportedly interested in securing Manchester United's James Wilson on loan for next season.
The 19-year-old is in Louis van Gaal's future plans, but the Dutchman is keen for the youngster to get regular first-team football under his belt.
The Magpies are favourites to sign Wilson, according to the Daily Star, with former Manchester United assistant Steve McClaren potentially taking the helm at St James' Park next season.
Wilson has featured 12 times in the Premier League this season, scoring one goal.
