Crystal Palace reportedly made a late attempt to hijack Wilfried Zaha's loan move from Manchester United to Cardiff City last week.
Zaha is poised to join the Bluebirds on a four-month deal this morning, having undergone a medical in South Wales yesterday.
According to The Mirror, Palace chairman Steve Parish offered United a better financial package than Cardiff, who were forced to increase their original bid in order to secure the 21-year-old's services.
Red Devils full-back Fabio da Silva and Stoke City striker Kenwyne Jones are also expected to complete moves to Cardiff today.
