Paul Pogba is reportedly ready to reject interest from Real Madrid and commit himself to Manchester United, but only if the club can match his wage demands.
The France international has been touted as a possible target for Los Blancos this summer following recent comments made by Zinedine Zidane and the player himself.
Pogba admitted during the international break that "Madrid is a dream club for every player", while Zidane has described his compatriot as a unique type of midfielder.
Despite the public flirtation, however, The Mirror reports that Pogba is not against remaining at Old Trafford for the time being.
First, though, it is claimed that the 26-year-old wants parity with Alexis Sanchez's £500,000-a-week wages.
Should United fail to reach terms with Pogba on a new deal, they may be forced to trigger a 12-month extension to keep him under contract until 2022.
