Paris Saint-Germain's opening bid of €65m (£46m) for British record signing Angel di Maria has reportedly been accepted by Manchester United.
The Argentina international arrived at Old Trafford from Real Madrid in a deal worth £59.7m last summer but was left fighting for a starting place after a run of inconsistent form.
Reports from Middle East broadcaster beIN Sports, run by Nasser Al-Khelaifi, the chairman of the group which owns PSG, had suggested that the French champions were to turn their attention elsewhere.
However, it now appears that the move could be back on, according to France Football.
With talks believed to have begun already and set to continue over the weekend, it is claimed that the 27-year-old could join up with Laurent Blanc's squad on their pre-season tour in the US in time for the clash with Chelsea on Sunday.
Di Maria had been due to link up with the United squad this weekend after being given time off following the Copa America, with Louis van Gaal's side also in the US and ironically facing PSG in a pre-season fixture on Thursday.
