Real Madrid are reportedly ready to battle Manchester United for the signature of Benfica youngster Renato Sanches next summer.
The 18-year-old was strongly linked with a move to Man United last month, but the Red Devils could not agree a fee with the teenager's Portuguese club.
It is understood that the Premier League side will return with an improved bid at the end of the season, but according to A Bola, Real Madrid are also very much in the race for the Portugal Under-19 international.
Sanches, who has scored two league goals for Benfica this season, has been with his current club since the age of nine.
