Manchester United and Manchester City will reportedly 'go to war' for Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos.
The German international is believed to have had the chance to join Man United from Bayern Munich in the summer of 2014, but instead made the switch to the Bernabeu, where he has made 107 appearances, scoring four times in the process.
Despite Kroos being a key player under Zinedine Zidane, it is understood that the central midfielder will be allowed to leave for the right price in next summer's transfer window.
According to Manchester Evening News, both Manchester clubs want to sign the 26-year-old in what could be another battle between head coaches Pep Guardiola and Jose Mourinho.
Kroos has scored 11 times in 72 appearances for the German national team.
