Valencia have reportedly approached Manchester United over a possible move for Scottish international Darren Fletcher.
The 30-year-old has been with United since the age of 11 and showed immense courage to bounce back from a serious bowel condition to become the club's vice-captain at the start of the season.
However, the midfielder has struggled for first-team football this term and it is understood that he will seek pastures new this month.
A number of home-nation clubs have been linked with a move, but according to the Daily Mail, Valencia are one of three European teams to express their interest.
Fletcher has just six months remaining on his current deal at Old Trafford and can therefore discuss terms with clubs from abroad.
