Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger reportedly has no intention of re-signing Robin van Persie.
The Dutch striker left the Emirates Stadium for Manchester United in 2012, but despite success last season, reports have suggested that Van Persie has failed to settle under David Moyes's management.
That has resulted in speculation that he could depart Old Trafford during the summer, with a return to the Gunners mooted.
However, Wenger does not believe that a reunion with the 30-year-old would be right for the club, according to The Mirror.
The report added that a move for Queens Park Rangers striker Loic Remy, who has spent the campaign with Newcastle United on a loan basis, is more likely.
