Manchester United defender Marcos Rojo has reportedly been left furious with his club after a deadline-day move to Everton broke down at the final moment.
The Argentina international was strongly linked with a switch to Goodison Park in the latter stages of the summer transfer window, but United are said to have ultimately priced the defender out of an exit.
According to the Daily Mail, Rojo has been left frustrated and upset by his team's refusal to sanction his departure ahead of the 2019-20 Premier League campaign.
The 29-year-old has made over 100 appearances for the Red Devils since arriving from Sporting Lisbon in the summer of 2014.
Injuries and a loss of form have harmed the South American in recent years, though, and he has only appeared on 14 occasions in the Premier League over the last two seasons.
Aston Villa were also linked with the versatile defender - out of contract at Old Trafford in June 2021 - before the transfer window closed.
