Manchester United midfielder Nemanja Matic is reportedly not a transfer target for Roma.
The 33-year-old was a regular for the Red Devils during the 2020-21 campaign, making 36 appearances in all competitions, including 20 outings in the Premier League.
The Serbia international is no longer a guaranteed starter for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side, though, and Roma have been linked with a move for the midfielder this summer.
Matic has a strong relationship with Roma boss Jose Mourinho, having played under the Portuguese at both Chelsea and Man United.
However, according to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, the Serie A giants are not considering a move for the Serbian before the transfer window closes for business.
Matic has made 157 appearances for the 20-time English champions since arriving from Chelsea in 2017, and he still has two years left to run on his contract with the club, having signed an extension last July. body check tags ::
