Roma are reportedly keen to sign Manchester United defender Alex Telles on loan this summer.
The 28-year-old joined the Red Devils from Porto on a four-year deal last October and made 24 appearances for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side during the 2020-21 campaign.
Telles is behind Luke Shaw in the pecking order for the left-back spot, though, and there have been suggestions that he could move on ahead of the 2021-22 season.
According to Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, Roma want to sign the Brazilian on loan to replace Leonardo Spinazzola, who suffered a serious Achilles injury during Euro 2020.
Di Marzio claims that Man United have 'no intention' of allowing Telles to leave on a short-term basis, but Roma will continue to press for the defender's signature in the current market.
The 20-time English champions are thought to be keen to bring a new full-back to the club this summer, with Atletico Madrid's Kieran Trippier believed to be an option.
