Barcelona defender Ronald Araujo has reportedly rejected the Blaugrana's first offer of a contract extension.
The 22-year-old has established himself as a key member of the Catalans' backline this season, but his existing deal at Camp Nou now has 18 months left to run.
Araujo's performances and contract situation have supposedly caught the attention of Manchester United and Real Madrid, while Chelsea are also rumoured to have been alerted to his recent refusal.
According to Marca, Araujo quickly rejected Barcelona's opening renewal offer during negotiations last week, although the rejection was 'amicable' and talks will resume soon.
The report adds that the Uruguay international wants to remain in Catalonia, but he could yet leave if he feels that Barca are not offering him a deal which reflects his value to the club.
Araujo has registered two goals in 24 appearances for Xavi's side this term in all tournaments and has won one Copa del Rey crown since making the move to Barcelona B from Boston River in 2018. body check tags ::
