John Rooney, the younger brother of Manchester United striker Wayne, has signed for American side Orlando City Soccer Club.
The team competes in the United Soccer League, the third tier of the American soccer system.
The 21-year-old has moved from MLS side New York Red Bulls.
Rooney made seven appearances in all competitions for the Red Bulls last season.
