Robin van Persie is understood to have successfully completed a medical ahead of his proposed £24m move to Manchester United.
The Arsenal striker arrived at Bridgewater Hospital in Manchester late on Thursday evening to undergo tests.
The 29-year-old has now taken a step closer to penning a four-year deal at Old Trafford, according to reports.
The transfer is expected to be formally announced at midday.
