Scunthorpe United manager Alan Knill has revealed that he is close to adding two young Premier League players to his squad on loan deals.
The players in question are Manchester United's reserve goalkeeper Same Johnstone and Everton defender Shane Duffy.
"We're trying with Shane and the keeper as well," Knill told BBC Sport.
"We're doing exactly what [the parent clubs] want us to do which is play them."
Neither youngster has featured for their respective clubs in a league fixture.
