Manchester United target Sergio Ramos has been offered the Real Madrid captaincy for next season, according to reports.
Spanish newspaper Marca claims that Ramos could wear the armband next season following Iker Casillas's move to Porto last week.
Ramos has been linked with a move to Old Trafford since the beginning of the summer, with United goalkeeper David de Gea possibly moving to Real Madrid.
If Ramos were to take the captaincy, that could signal an end to United's pursuit of the player.
