Sevilla sporting director Monchi has said that his club could yet sign Anthony Martial on a permanent basis from Manchester United this summer.
The France international joined the La Liga outfit on loan in January and has been a regular since his arrival at Estadio Ramon, making 11 appearances, contributing one goal and one assist in the process.
Sevilla had allegedly ruled out a permanent move for the 26-year-old, while Martial recently said that it would be "very complicated" for him to remain at the Spanish club beyond the end of this season.
However, the La Liga team's sporting director Monchi has refused to rule out a permanent move for the forward, who still has more than two years left to run on his deal at Old Trafford.
"His transfer was cheaper than you think, but it's still a big bet, just six or seven million," Monchi told Radio Sevilla. "Unfortunately, it is difficult to analyse Martial's performance when he was injured and now he is injured again.
"I'm not closing the door on his continuity although there's a lot to see and discuss with the player at the end of the season."
Martial started Sunday's La Liga clash with Real Madrid, which Sevilla lost 3-2, but he had to be replaced in the latter stages of the first period after suffering an injury. body check tags ::
