Luke Shaw is reportedly 'very close' to signing a new long-term contract with Manchester United.
Shaw will see his current deal with the 20-time English champions expire at the end of this season, and his future at Old Trafford has been called into question despite his impressive form this term.
Indeed, Shaw has ousted Ashley Young to become United's first-choice left-back, and finally looks to have overcome the horrific double leg fracture that he suffered in September 2015.
According to Sky Sports News, the length of Shaw's new contract is yet to be finalised, but the club and player are both confident that an announcement will soon be made.
The 23-year-old joined United from Southampton in 2014, and has been restricted to just 75 appearances in all competitions.
Shaw withdrew from the England squad for their UEFA Nations League matches with Croatia and Spain.
