Tottenham Hotspur legend Teddy Sheringham has suggested that Harry Kane should remain at the club.
The striker has been linked with a move away from White Hart Lane after scoring 21 Premier League goals last season, with Manchester United thought to be interested in the 22-year-old.
Sheringham, who scored 125 goals in two spells with Spurs, has stated that Kane would be better off at White Hart Lane.
"He's at where he's at and that's a very sensible thing to do at the moment," Sheringham told 888sport.com.
"He should be honoured still to play for Tottenham – and the way that he speaks he is. Harry is loving every minute of it so he hasn't got eyes for anyone else."
Kane netted 31 times in all competitions for Spurs last term.
