Inter Milan's Wesley Sneijder could still join Manchester United in the January transfer window, according to reports.
The Red Devils were linked with the Dutch international for much of the summer and were understood to have agreed a £30m fee with the Italian club, but Sneijder's personal demands proved to be too steep.
However, according to The Mirror, the 27-year-old has since told friends that he is still hoping to make the switch to Old Trafford and that it could happen as early as January.
Inter, who are believed to be keen to get the midfielder off their books, are reported to have also offered the playmaker to Manchester City.
