Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has allegedly sent his personal scout to watch Red Bull Salzburg forward Erling Haaland.
Having starred for the Austrian outfit in the Champions league this season, Haaland is wanted by many of the top clubs in European football.
United are one of the teams who have been frequently linked with a move for the frontman, and it appears that Solskjaer has stepped up his efforts to sign his Norwegian compatriot.
According to The Athletic, Simon Wells has been in attendance for a number of Salzburg's fixtures since the beginning of the season.
While United are currently struggling to offer Haaland an opportunity to play Champions League football during the next campaign, the English giants are hopeful that a persistent interest in the youngster will work in their favour.
