Tottenham Hotspur will reportedly not make a move for Manchester United midfielder Nemanja Matic over the January transfer window.
The Serbia international, whose contract expires next summer, is open to the prospect of a January move after falling down the pecking order under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
It had been suggested that following the arrival of Jose Mourinho, who signed Matic at Chelsea and United, the North London club would also make a move for the midfielder.
However, according to Manchester Evening News, there are no plans at Spurs to make a move for the 31-year-old.
The current midfielder quintet of Harry Winks, Eric Dier, Moussa Sissoko, Tanguy Ndombele and Victor Wanyama forms a strong foundation for Mourinho.
Solskjaer recently laughed off the prospect of Matic completing a move to Spurs over the January window.
