Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly set to rival Manchester United and Chelsea for Juventus defender Gleison Bremer.
The Brazilian has spent one season at the Allianz Stadium after completing a €41m (£35.1m) transfer from local rivals Torino last summer.
Bremer established himself as a key part of the Juventus defence starting all 43 of his appearances in the 2022-23 campaign.
Despite putting in a number of impressive performances, it proved to be a difficult season for Juventus who were hit with a 10-point deduction for illicit transfer activity.
Juventus are expected to offload players this summer to improve their financial situation after finishing in seventh place in Serie A and missing out on Champions League football.
As a result, Juventus could entertain offers for Bremer, who is attracting interest from the Premier League.
The central defender is attracting interest from Man United and Chelsea, but they could be joined in the race by another Premier League rival.
According to The Telegraph, Tottenham are interested in signing the 26-year-old as they look to strengthen their defence ahead of the 2023-24 season.
Juventus will be in a strong position in negotiations, with four years still to run on the Brazil international's contract.
New Spurs boss Ange Postecoglou will need to bring in defensive reinforcements, with Japhet Tanganga, Joe Rodon and Davinson Sanchez heading towards the exit door.
Clement Lenglet has also returned to his parent club Barcelona following the conclusion of his loan spell, although Spurs are in talks to sign the Frenchman on a permanent deal.
Spurs are also considering a number of alternative targets to Bremer, including Manchester United defender Harry Maguire.
A recent report claimed that Micky van de Ven has been added to their shortlist, while Bayer Leverkusen's Edmond Tapsoba also features on their radar. body check tags ::
