Winger Steven Bergwijn has penned a new long-term contract at PSV Eindhoven, ending speculation regarding a transfer to a club in the Premier League.
Having enjoyed a strong campaign with the Dutch giants last season, Bergwijn was linked with Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool.
However, with a move having failed to materialise, the Netherlands international has now signed a new four-year deal with the Eredivisie outfit.
The 21-year-old told the club's official website: "Signing a new deal was a conscious choice. I feel I have made the right decision.
"I was on the radar of a range of clubs, but I realised that everything should be perfect, both for me and PSV. And that's why I decided to commit my long-term future to the club."
Bergwijn has contributed 25 goals from 114 appearances for PSV in all competitions since coming through the club's youth setup.
