Manchester United head coach Erik ten Hag has refused to rule out more signings arriving at Old Trafford before the end of the January transfer window.

The Red Devils have brought two players to the club this month, with Jack Butland arriving on loan from Crystal Palace, while Wout Weghorst has joined on loan from Burnley.

Butland has not yet made his debut for the club, but Weghorst was a starter against Crystal Palace in the Premier League on Wednesday night.

Man United's ownership situation has complicated any plans that Ten Hag and his coaching staff might have had for the winter market, with the Glazers in discussions over a sale.

However, there have been reports that the Red Devils would sign more players before the end of the month, with Leicester City's Youri Tielemans thought to be a target.

Ten Hag, speaking ahead of Sunday's Premier League clash with Arsenal, said that his side would "have to go for it" if the right opportunity arrived before the end of the window.

"I think as Manchester United you always have to look for solutions, and always you have to look for better and that is what we will do," the Dutchman told reporters.

"We will be doing our research and if there are opportunities, we have to go for it."

Man United will be in the market for a new centre-forward this summer, with Napoli's Victor Osimhen thought to be the club's leading target, while a new central midfielder could also be targeted.

There has also been speculation surrounding exits this month, with Anthony Elanga and Facundo Pellistri both being linked with short-term moves away from the club.

A recent report claimed that Everton have been blocked from taking Elanga on loan by the Red Devils, but Pellistri could potentially leave the club for Flamengo.

Scott McTominay and Harry Maguire have also been linked with departures, although it is understood that Ten Hag is not prepared to let either player leave in January.

Man United conceded a late leveller against Crystal Palace on Wednesday night to draw 1-1, with the result ending a nine-game winning run in all competitions.

The 20-time English champions will now be bidding to return to winning ways when they head to North London on Sunday afternoon to take on table-topping Arsenal.
