Manchester United utility man Timothy Fosu-Mensah has insisted that he wants to stay at the club, having finally made his return from a long-term injury last week.
The 22-year-old suffered a cruciate knee ligament injury while on loan at Fulham last season and spent nine months on the sidelines before featuring for United's Under-23 team against Newcastle United on Friday night.
The Netherlands international's future at Old Trafford looks far from certain, though, having not played a single senior game for United since May 2017.
Fosu-Mensah has been linked with another loan exit having spent the past two seasons at Crystal Palace and Fulham respectively, but he is determined to stay and fight for his place under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
"I am focusing on being here, we have a lot of games. It's good to be at Manchester United," Fosu-Mensah told the Manchester Evening News.
Fosu-Mensah, who can play in either defence or midfield, has made just 12 Premier League appearances for United.
