Aston Villa are reportedly interested in signing Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher on loan.

The midfielder is back at Stamford Bridge after a successful loan spell at Crystal Palace last term, but it is unclear whether he is in the first-team plans of Blues boss Thomas Tuchel for the 2022-23 campaign.

According to The Mirror, Villa are keen on a loan deal for the 22-year-old, who needs regular action in the first half of next season to stand a chance of making the England squad for the 2022 World Cup.

Gallagher, who has also had loan spells with Charlton Athletic, Swansea City and West Bromwich Albion in recent years, scored eight times and registered five assists in 39 outings for Palace during the 2021-22 season.

Meanwhile, according to West London Sport, Fulham are keen to bring Arsenal goalkeeper Bernd Leno to Craven Cottage before the end of this summer's transfer window.

The 30-year-old lost his starting role with the Gunners to Aaron Ramsdale last season, and he is believed to be keen to leave the North London club this term in search of pastures new.

The report claims that Fulham, who are back in the Premier League for the coming campaign, have been in talks with Arsenal in recent weeks, and an agreement between all parties is close.

Leno only has one year left to run on his contract at Emirates Stadium, while Arsenal have seemingly prepared for his exit by bringing in Matt Turner as a number two.

Elsewhere, Leicester City are allegedly considering a move for Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Harry Winks as a replacement for Youri Tielemans.

Arsenal and Manchester United are both said to be keen to sign Tielemans this summer, with the Belgium international entering the final year of his contract with the Foxes.

According to football.london, Leicester have identified Winks as a possible replacement, with the Englishman said to be available for transfer in the current market.

The 26-year-old - also linked with Leeds United - has two years left to run on his contract at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, and he has made 202 appearances for Spurs in all competitions.

Meanwhile, according to Football Insider, Celtic are interested in bringing Sheffield United defender George Baldock to the club this summer.

The 29-year-old has spent the last five years with the Blades, making 166 appearances in all competitions, and he was again an important player for the club last term, featuring on 27 occasions.

Baldock, who still has two years left to run on his contract, is said to be viewed by Celtic as a possible replacement for Josip Juranovic.

The Scottish giants are believed to have attempted to sign the Greece international last summer and are now preparing to reignite their interest ahead of the 2022-23 campaign. body check tags ::
