Manchester United are closing in on the capture of Bursaspor's Ozan Tufan, according to reports.
The 20-year-old can operate in defence or midfield, and made his debut for the Turkish national side last year.
His versatility is thought to be particularly attractive to Red Devils boss Louis van Gaal, who is lining up a £10m offer for Tufan, according to the Metro.
"Tufan could join Manchester United within a short space of time. I know a number of European football's biggest clubs are keeping close tabs on him," the newspaper quotes former Kasimpasa manager and Rangers striker Shota Arveladze as saying.
"He is well suited to the modern game, he is good on the ball, intelligent off the ball, attacks, defends, passes tackles, he does it all."
Tufan broke into the Bursaspor first team in 2012, and has scored three goals in 28 appearances for the Super Lig outfit.
