Manchester United and Real Madrid are said to be positive that their reported transfer negotiations regarding Angel di Maria will conclude with the winger moving to Old Trafford.
It was claimed yesterday that talks between the two clubs had started, with Di Maria believed to be open to the prospect of working under new United boss Louis van Gaal.
Personal terms between the Argentine international and the Premier League club have been agreed, according to Goal.com.
However, the report adds that the two clubs have a differing valuation, with Madrid having insisted that the 26-year-old is worth £45m, while United had plotted a bid in the region of £30m.
Despite that, it has been said that all parties are confident that an agreement can be reached, with discussions expected to restart early next week.
