Manchester United have reportedly offered Vancouver Whitecaps teenager Alphonso Davies a trial.
Davies, 17, made his MLS debut at the age of 15, and it was claimed in October 2016 that United were scouting the winger ahead of a potential move.
The Liberia-born attacker, whose rise has been compared to that of former America wonderkid Freddy Adu, joined the Whitecaps' academy in 2015 before quickly progressing to the first team.
Davies has also already scored three times in six appearances for Canada, and according to The Sun, United have offered him the chance to train with the Premier League giants at their Carrington complex.
The teenager would need permission from his MLS club to travel to England, although it is understood that Whitecaps have been prepared for this situation for some time.
