Manchester United officials have reportedly met with the agent of Edinson Cavani to discuss a move to Old Trafford this summer.
The Red Devils, who this week parted company with manager David Moyes, are looking to bring in new players in a bid to reinvigorate the squad.
The first big name to join the club could be Paris Saint-Germain forward Cavani, who is keen on making the move to Manchester with talks currently ongoing between both parties, according to the Daily Star.
The report suggests that United will make way for the Uruguayan by allowing Javier Hernandez to leave the club, while Danny Welbeck could also be on his way out.
Cavani joined PSG last summer from Napoli, where he has gone on to score 21 times.
