Manchester United manager David Moyes is reportedly planning to offer young starlet Adnan Januzaj a new long-term contract following his fine start to the season.
Janujaz underlined his talent with a brace on his full Premier League debut on Saturday, helping United come from behind to win 2-1 at Sunderland.
The 18-year-old is out of contract at the end of the season, leaving the United hierarchy fearing a situation similar to the one that allowed Paul Pogba to walk away for nothing in 2012.
United will bid to remove that risk by handing Jaunjaz a four-year contract with wages of around £50,000-a-week, according to The Mirror.
The Belgian youngster has been linked with a host of European clubs given his current contract situation, including local rivals Manchester City.
