Spanish side Valencia are reportedly holding talks with the agent of Manchester United goalkeeper Victor Valdes about the prospect of a season-long loan move.
The keeper's future at Old Trafford was plunged into fresh doubt as he was left out of Louis van Gaal's squad to tour the USA, and Goal.com now suggests that the player's agent is having conversations about a possible deal to take Valdes back to La Liga.
The former Barca stopper is around six months into an 18-month contract at United, meaning that a season-long loan would take him to the end of his contract at the Premier League club.
Valdes has made just two appearances for United, having officially joined earlier in January.
