Ajax midfielder Donny van de Beek has admitted that he is unsure whether he will be on the move during this summer's transfer window due to the current uncertainty in the world of football.
The 23-year-old enjoyed another impressive campaign for his Dutch club in 2019-20, scoring 10 times and contributing 11 assists in 37 appearances in all competitions.
Manchester United continue to be linked with the Netherlands international, and the midfielder has refused to rule out a move away from Amsterdam before the transfer window closes in early October.
"It is very messy, in any case a very messy period in terms of transfers," he told Fox Sports. "Nothing is certain yet. I am still a player of Ajax and I am still proud to be there.
"If there had not been the coronavirus, it might have been different now. There is no clarity now and we have to wait and see how it turns out.
"I'm still here and after all these years I still have a lot of fun. If I also play at Ajax next season, I still have a lot of fun. You won't hear me complaining."
Van de Beek's current deal with Erik ten Hag's side is due to expire in the summer of 2022.
